While some in the international community continue to show their harsh anti-Israel bias, we, as Christians and Jews, stand firm in our faith, stand firm for Israel, and rejoice in the promises God has made. “This is what the Lord says: ‘I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.´” (Zechariah 8:3-5)
- Pray for peace around the world. May all of God’s creation live justly, in community with one another, and in the light of His love. “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)
- Pray for all of the 4Zion-sponsored programs in Israel, and around the world. We ask that, with God’s help, they will continue to be lifesaving and life-enhancing for impoverished Jews and Jews who live in danger. “‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself” (Exodus 19:4).
- As international tensions rise concerning Iran and their nuclear ambitions, pray that God will grant world leaders wisdom and that ultimately peace will reign. “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8).
- Pray for wisdom for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, for President Obama, and for all world leaders who truly seek peace. “Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?” (2 Chronicles 1:10).
